Scriptures give insight to natural problems and long unanswered prayer requests. I got a hold of Matthew 15 today, and I feel led to share it with you guys. You see this word "faith", can never be overemphasized. Who remembers the Canaanite woman who went to Jesus for healing for her daughter? We don't know her name, but we do know she had a great faith because Jesus himself commends her for it. In coming to Jesus for help, she was faced with three obstacles: silence, saints, and insult. Just as many of us are faced with at least two, if not this exact three. Initially, when she begged Jesus for mercy, He didn't reply her a word (SILENCE). And when He did not reply her, His disciples took it upon themselves to get rid of her (SAINTS). But the first obstacle didn't discourage her, neither did the second deter her. Guys!!! I saw this cute baby at the filling station this evening. She was so petite a creature😩. Initially, it was a bit difficult to get her to smile, as she had to look far above her height to stare at me. So I had to squat to have a feel of her nature and finish her with smiles+ winks. In no time guys, she started blushing uncontrollably and I became over-excited that I started jumping...It felt like a mission accomplished (please don't ask me why). She was too beautiful. She was just too beautiful, as her smile brought out her left-sided dimple. I was in love, and I could feel it was mutual. Just after the whole drama, I bought what I wanted to buy and had to move to the other end of the filling station to get a receipt. Then all of a sudden I heard people laughing and shouting behind me. I turned back to see what the excitement was all about and I was told that the moment I stepped aside, the little girl began running after me. So the lady she came with, ...

Dami...I called out! Her hands covered, her cloth soaked in blood. She wept, she wept profusely. I tried coming closer, but her sins were highlighted before me. Bid me come nearer I mourned. But she turned. She turned the other way and replied; I am too filthy to be looked upon, I will get through this phase by my strength. All I need is for you to keep strong for me. I was sorry, Sorry, I couldn't do a thing, Sorry I was left with no other option than to watch her die.

You're not who you were few years back, you've grown jovial and exotic. You're not how you should have been, you've gotten stronger, yet defense less. You've ignored past victories and future promises for temporary settlements. You do not deserve to be cherished or adorned, yet you are surrounded with strifeless children. One's you belittled​ by your words, actions and guidance. No matter where we go, or how beautifully we tone our skin colours, we can never overrule the fact that we are Nigerians​. Her genetic origin lives in us, her nature sp eaks through our existence. A new year today, a new year to intercede for a country.
