A torch or a light bulb?

Wondering what this means? It's simple!

A torch shines for a few hours and then retires to receive strength/charge from its source. This implies that without a torch having "alone" time with its source, it won't be able to brighten the way of men or eradicate the darkness in a room, but the longer it stays from its source, the dimmer its light gets and fades away.

Unlike the light bulb.
It is continually connected to its source and for as long as this source stays on, the light bulb lightens up the path of men and dispels darkness, but once it gets disconnected from its source it becomes useless and unfruitful. It no longer serves the purpose for which it was created.

What light bearer are you?
The torch or the light bulb?

Whichever you are, you still need a source, our very own source; God.

You could choose to be a torch, but I'd rather you be a light bulb, constantly connected to the source, and lighting up the path of men.

What A Journey!

I thought hard and long about what this article should entail. My head failed to come up with a lovely post, but an excellent mind came up with some soothing words. Wait on The Lord

How does it feel to be left on 'hold' by God? Depressing? Fraustrating? Draining? Unproductive? I know just how you feel in case you're there right now. We're together my dia! I know how useless you feel seeing people you're "better than" making progress. Not because of envy or anything, just that in your heart, you know you ought to be above your current level. You feel you're lagging behind and you have a lot to catch up with. You feel the enemy is after your soul, and the people from your father's side are possibly 'doing you' lol . No, my love. Gratitude

I hope I get forgiven for being so far away, yet very close?🥺 A lot has been going on in my head and I promise to share once I can fully comprehend them. But before then, I thought to drop this here, and I hope it helps someone. I Got up to read one of my favourite devotionals this morning but when I saw the topic " Gratitude ", I just felt there really wasn't anything new to learn. Notwithstanding, I read it but definitely didn't study it. Fast forward to me going about my daily activities with hindrances everywhere. First, the cooking gas finished just in the middle of preparing breakfast, then many more annoying events occurred.
